Gaels News · Record breaking night but Varsity Football comes up a little short….

On a night where a Dublin High School football record seems to have been broken with long yardage and multiple touchdowns the Varsity Team unfortunately still came up short. QB Jack Sweeney, put himself in the record books here at DHS, during Friday Night’s game against James Logan of Union City. Throwing 6 touchdowns and passing for 406 yards in a game would usually seem like a recipe for a successful night but the Mighty Colts of James Logan High School were  not to be stopped. They kept coming at us with all they had to take the game in a 52-41 victory. Congratulations to Jack Sweeney and the entire Varsity Team for a night to be remembered.
